HEMORRHOIDS

They are swollen veins in the anal region and lower rectum. Swelling inside the rectum are known to be internal hemorrhoids and swelling around the anus is called external hemorrhoids. Usually presents with pain on passing stool and occasional bleeding. Patients usually don’t consult a doctor unless it worsens or prolapses.
